Composition and principle of operation of a mechanical device for the formation of ridge tiles.
A mechanical device for forming ridge tiles consists of two main parts:
Upper
– mounting plate;
– plate for shaping and cooling;
Lower
– mounting plate;
– assembly beams;
– ejectors;
– receiving part for filling polymer-sand mass with cooling channels.
Operating principle:
A pre-dosed polymer-sand mass is placed in the receiving part of the open mechanical device for the formation of the ridge. The lower part (die) rises to the upper part (punch) until it closes completely. Process water is separately supplied to the upper and lower parts by means of a pump in a continuous recirculation mode. After polymer-sand mixture polymerization, the lower part is lowered and with the help of pushers is removed from the receiving part, then the finished product is moved manually for further air cooling.
